Chyna Whyne has setup a program for Alexander Teachers to come to Jamaica to integrate the Alexander Technique into Jamaican society. There has been a shortage of teachers of color who have trained to become teachers and the objective moving forwards is that a training school is eventually created in Jamaica which gives the entire Caribbean the opportunity to train to become Alexander Teachers. In the meantime teachers from all over the world are invited to visit Jamaica and offer lessons to schools, corporations, the arts and entertainment industry, and to under privileged communities. Chyna trained in 1999-2002 with Walter and Dylis Carrington at the Constructive Teaching Centre Holland Park London.
